The Negroni is one of the world’s most ordered aperitifs, and features equal parts of gin, vermouth rosso, and Campari served on the rocks and garnished with an orange slice or orange peel. Invented in Florence, Italy in 1919, it was named after Count Camillo Negroni who requested his bartender friend Forsco Scarselli for a punchy cocktail. Decades later, it is enjoyed by millions around the world for its strong, herbaceous flavour profile.
It has become such an iconic bar staple that in 2013 Imbibe Magazine launched Negroni Week as a celebration of one of the world’s great cocktails. It has since become a way to raise money for charitable causes around the world.
From 16 to 22 September 2024, Blue joins thousands of iconic bars and clubs internationally in celebrating Negroni Week. Blue’s talented mixologists have created three versions of the Negroni for the cause. Order a Pandan-groni, Negroni or Negroni Sbagliato to benefit an international charity, and drink for a cause, while enjoying the dazzling cityscape as seen from one of Malaysia’s best rooftop bars!
