IT’S ZONGZI TIME!

The Dragon Boat Festival brings with it dumplings of delight in delicious, ingenious flavours. Traditionally known as zongzi (also bak chang in Cantonese), these traditional glutinous rice pyramids packed with a variety of fillings are eaten to mark the Dragon Boat Festival which falls on June 10 2024 this year.

Our Chinese chefs have created a range of savoury and sweet dumplings for the festival, using premium ingredients for the very best mouthfuls. There are three savoury varieties to try, namely Abalone Tea-smoked Farm Chicken dumpling with salted egg, lotus seeds, chestnuts, mushrooms, and black-eyed beans; fragrant Thai Minced Chicken with Basil Rice dumpling infused with chilli padi, shallots and garlic, and Dried Scallop, Salted Egg Chicken Rice dumpling which is a classic favourite. All three variants go deliciously well with our signature dried shrimp chilli sauce.

 

For a sweet dimension, tuck into our Mini Red Bean Paste with Tangerine Peel and Honey Palm Sugar Alkaline Water Rice dumplings which are a perfectly balanced counterpoint to the savoury dumpling varieties.

 

Pre-orders start from 10 May 2024 onwards. Dumplings will be available for pick-up at Nipah from 10 May until 10 June 2024.
